Philadelphia Trip December 4, 2021

Tom & Alicia can't go to Philly without visiting Dave & Buster's. Yes, in case you were wondering, this is where they got married.

Due to Covid and cancelled trips we had to use up an airline credit before it expired. The airline didn’t fly direct from Newark (EWR) to Orlando (MCO) so we had to take a flight out of Philadelphia (PHL). Rather then drive down early in the morning and deal with traffic and getting up at the crack of dawn we decided to go the day before and visit the Philadelphia zoo. This would out our hotel only 10 minutes from the airport letting us have a leisurely morning and not feel exhausted when getting to the airport.

Can’t say I have ever saw a Christmas tree made up of pink flamingos before.
The zoo has a cool feature called Zoo 360 where the animals can roam around the zoo (securely in these tubes) so we can get a different view of them.
One of Tom’s hobbies is taking pictures of benches. These three were definitely unique.
The view from our hotel room was of Camden across the mighty Delaware river. Tom enjoyed watching the river traffic.
